Rocknoceros has been prepping their next album Colonel Purple Turtle, and some of the songs are starting to make their way to a broader set of ears. Gwyneth captured the band at their sold-out Jammin' Java show this weekend, including this track, whose main melodic guitar line and title lyric will enter your brain and pretty much never leave. So watch this at your own risk.

Video: "Got a Little Ghost" - Caspar Babypants
Chris Ballew has very talented friends and acquaintances. First this, then this, and now he's got a third Caspar Babypants fan-made music video to share. Unlike this morning's video, this new one, for "Got a Little Ghost" off his More Please! disk, is pretty simple (hello, Billy Kelly!) but also darn cute.

Video: "Superhero" - Tim and the Space Cadets
I was a little sad to hear about Tim and the Space Cadets, because the founding members, Tim Kubart and Matt Puckett, were until recently members of the awesome Jimmies.
"Until recently?" What? Nooooooo!!!! Things must never change!!!!
But, yes, they've parted ways with Ashley's project to form this new band, which has a new EP out, The Greatest Party Ever. While you can listen to 3 of the songs from the EP at their website, I encourage you to first watch this video, which is, like, the best kids video since, er, the last Jimmies video. A pretty good song, and an awesome video. Perhaps change is good.

Share: "Do The Potty Dance" - Ralph's World
I'll admit to being a little conflicted by the latest song from Ralph's World. I previously hoped that "Do the Potty Dance" would be better than the Rice Krispies jingle Ralph did. I think this new song is a wee bit better, if only because it manages to avoid mention of Pull-Ups. But if your kids have passed that stage, this wouldn't be your Number One choice.
I guess this would be the first song you don't want to play in the car for fear of triggering a Pavlovian response -- the whole point is getting them to wait to pee.
Anyway, if you want to download the song (and the video) you can go here or you can go here if you want to avoid Huggies and the greater Kimberly-Clark empire altogether.
Or if you have the urge, just watch below.

Monday Morning Smile: "Hey Hey You Say" - Papas Fritas
An early, as-yet-unrevealed formative video experience for Michael Rachap?
Who knows, but this is pretty much a guaranteed grin. Not kids music, but bring 'em round the computer.

Video: "Robin on a Wire" - Caspar Babypants
Step 1 to putting together a nice kids music video: Have a nephew. (Or niece, I suppose, if a nephew is unavailable.)
Step 2: Have that nephew become a teacher.
Step 3: Have that nephew assign your album as an assignment for creating videos.
Step 4: Profit!
OK, there was probably no profit for Chris Ballew, his nephew Marty, or Marty's student Gabe Trainer, but this video for "Robin on a Wire" from Ballew's second Caspar Babypants album More Please!, is pretty sweet. Very much like a children's picture book. (Note: Your ability to follow Ballew's template may vary.)
