I can't think of another band whose music I merely enjoy whose videos I consume so eagerly. While it's not quite as brilliant as their video for "This Too Shall Pass", this video for "White Knuckles" is fun with animals and safe for the kiddos. What's that, Lassie? You say you want to choreograph Timmy's next music video?

Video: "Be Nice To Animals" - Salteens (from Yo Gabba Gabba!)
This video from Salteens, with animation for Yo Gabba Gabba! is so cute it makes me want to pinch its cheeks and say, "aaaaawwww, you're so cute! Yes, you are!" Maybe it wasn't quite the Salteens song fans wanted on the first YGG compilation, but the video is ten tons of awesome. (And if you think it starts out too cute, just give it a little time -- it finds a nice balance.)

Yo Gabba Gabba Goes Back To School
Yo Gabba Gabba posted a couple sweet videos from their upcoming "School"-themed episode. (Note to YGG-wise -- we started school a month ago 'round here, but anyway...) My favorite of the two is definitely the retro-sounding "What Story Do You Want To Hear?" from Dr. Dog (of course), featuring a total Schoolhouse Rock video tribute. It's a great song and video.

Nearly a year ago I praised "Apples and Honey", a new track from The Macaroons. Rosh Hashanah is just a week away, so this new video is just about perfect. (It's also totally appropriate for non-Jewish viewers, like myself.)

Video: "Preposition" - The Bazillions
Their last video, for "Tommy Got in Trouble," had the advantage of being for a great song. It was a good video for Twin Cities band The Bazillions, but their new one (at least to YouTube) is even better. "Preposition" is a decent song, but this video is Schoolhouse Rock-worthy.

Video: "Bookmobile Submarine" - John Hadfield
John Hadfield is turning to music videos to help him fund his new album -- he says on his Facebook page that proceeds from downloading this new video on iTunes or CDBaby will go toward funding his new album.
Probably worth 99 cents just for the idea of writing a song called "Bookmobile Submarine" and then talking about microfiche, which is a joke that I think you have to be, like, at least 23 years old to get. Decent animation, it's a fun little 2:30 video.
