Yo Gabba Gabba! is pegged at your resident 3-year-old, so the song lyrics lack any subtlety. Of course, when they're as catchy as Mates of State's take on inclusion -- "No One Likes To Be Left Out" -- nobody really minds.

Secret Agent 23 Skidoo's awesome debut kids CD Easy is being re-released this week with three brand new tracks, including "Robots Can't Cry," which Jeff from Out With The Kids captured on video live from Philly this weekend. Great chorus, great end line, great robot-work from Skidoo's kid Saki.

I think there are about a half-dozen food safety rules violated here, and kids, never get something out of the oven without oven mitts, but, hey, I like the song. Johnny Bregar's "Shoo Fly Pie" is not only on his excellent Dragonfly CD, it's also on the forthcoming Putumayo Picnic Playground compilation.

The first annual "Timeout To Rock" event in Seattle is now over, but this video of The Not-Its playing "Watch Me Share" from their upcoming debut made me smile. Not so much the opening sax solo as the pogoing kids. I think they all drank their parents' Starbucks.
