"Opposite Friends" - The Little Rockers Band

Artist: The Little Rockers Band

Song: "Opposite Friends"

AlbumReady for Rockin'

Description: A little bit old, but I re-watched the video recently and thought the use of the fake splitscreen and the constant (simple) costume and prop changes made what could have been a fairly standard thing into something a little more polished.  Plus I appreciated the Arizona shout-out.

Wait.  That wasn't an Arizona shout-out?

"Brush Brush Brush" - Of Montreal (from Yo Gabba Gabba!)

Artist: Of Montreal

Song: "Brush Brush Brush"

Album:  Yo Gabba Gabba: Music Is Awesome

Description: An oldie (relatively) but goodie.  The song is cute enough on its own, a zippy, danceable ode to dental hygiene, but really it's the dancing animation courtesy of Kangaroo Alliance that makes this Yo Gabba Gabba bit darn near irresistible.

"Shrimp" - Recess Monkey

Artist:  Recess Monkey

Song:  "Shrimp"

Album:  Deep Sea Diver

Description:  The Deep Sea Diver  submarine (a Tambourine Submarine, I believe) makes landfall and goes all "Fantastic Voyage" on us.  Recess Monkey's pint-sized fans will probably get a kick out of seeing itty-bitty-sized versions of Drew and Jack.  (Korum cannot be itty-bitty-sized.)

"Hokey Pokey" - Josh and the Jamtones

Artist: Josh and the Jamtones

Song: "Hokey Pokey"

Description:  Yay for kinetic typography!  ("You put your Helvetica in / you put your Helvetica out...")  An energetic video (for typography, in any case) for the energetic Boston-area band.

"Hangin' Around" - Debbie and Friends

Artist: Debbie and Friends

Song: "Hangin' Around"

AlbumStory Songs & Sing Alongs

Description: This is one of the most singularly educational songs in recent kids music and while the video (pre-Debbie's association with Planet Sunday) isn't super, it's an effective match for the lyrics.

"I've Got Problems" - Kernel Klump

Artist: Kernel Klump

Song: "I've Got Problems"

Album: N/A

Description: If you were looking a robot to rap about his problems, stop right here.  He says it, and it's true, I know nothing about his problems.  (I'm sorry, the tiny little arms make me smile every time.)
