Video: "Robot Monkey Head" - John Hadfield

The only serious problem with this video, for John Hadfield's goofy, made-for-Dr.-Demento classic "Robot Monkey Head," is that it's about a month too late. Seriously, totally Halloween appropriate.

Oh, and if you're a 7-year-old boy, you'll go nuts for this video, a relatively literal translation of this song, natch.

We actually filmed this on Hallowe'en day - the neighbors loved it... You don't know how many times I circled the block in the shiny suit, singing at the top on my lungs while being pursued by a mad scientist and a hunchback on a tandem bike.
And the angry mob raised some eyebrows.
It was so much fun.

Like it - and I know my two young boys would. We put together a 'mix-tape' of old-school music for a Halloween party this year. Perhaps next year we'll have to rig up video as well and feature stuff like this.
